Russian Gas Supplies to Armenia Temporarily Suspended
Russian energy company Gazprom's subsidiary in Armenia has announced that natural gas supplies to the country will be temporarily suspended from September 15 to 25 due to planned maintenance and repair work on a major pipeline.
The suspension affects supplies through the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia main gas pipeline, where scheduled preventive and repair work will be carried out on Russian territory.
According to the company, the interruption will not affect the reliability of gas supplies to Armenian consumers. Domestic reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from Iran will ensure uninterrupted gas supply during this period.
