Russian Oil Output Hits New High But Vulnerable to Attacks

Russia's oil production saw an increase in July, rising by about 100,000 barrels per day compared to June. Total output exceeded 9 million barrels per day.

The boost was supported by higher refinery utilization rates and strong crude export volumes.

However, maintaining this level of production in August is likely to be challenging due to new attacks on oil refineries and ongoing export logistics problems.
