Russia's Grain Exports Paralyzed by Ukraine Drone Attack
Russia is facing severe disruptions to its grain exports after Ukraine launched a drone attack on three major terminals in Novorossiysk. The assault has caused significant damage, including the collapse of a loading gallery and destruction of several silos at United Grain's terminal.
Demetra's terminal also suffered damage, with its truck unloading facility and gallery affected by the strikes. The KSK terminal was hit as well, according to sources.
Russia claims that Ukraine's actions are pushing up global food prices and exacerbating grain shortages, which could lead to chaos in the global food market. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Ukrainian attacks on Russian agricultural infrastructure serve the interests of certain Western nations.
