Russia's Oil Production Hit by Refinery Repairs Amid Drone Attacks
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has announced that drone attacks on Russian oil refineries will impact oil production volumes in Russia next year. In an interview, Novak stated that current production volumes are lower than forecast due to unscheduled repairs at these facilities.
The decline in production is temporary and Russia aims to fully repair all oil refineries using domestic technologies and equipment. To balance the market, imports will be used, with additional supplies from foreign markets being explored. The situation on the Russian fuel market has improved, although there are still minor shortages at filling stations, particularly in regions such as Siberia and the Ural federal districts.
Novak emphasized that exports remain stable, with all capacities of Russia's export infrastructure being utilized to their maximum potential, including those expanded recently for maritime transport. He assured that companies and industry fully provide necessary resources and equipment for repairs, citing no problems in this regard.
