Sainsbury's Slashes Prices on Essential Food Items for Bank Holiday Weekend
Sainsbury's has announced that it will be slashing prices on essential food items by half for the Bank Holiday weekend. The supermarket giant is offering reduced Nectar Prices on a range of fresh produce, including sweetcorn, peppers, and mushrooms.
The deals run until Monday 31st August and include British sweetcorn cobs for just 35p, down from 70p, and red sweet pointed peppers for 37p, down from 75p. Flat mushrooms can be snapped up for 62p, down from £1.25, and baby gem potatoes for 77p, reduced from £1.55.
Giant mangoes have also been cut to 75p from £1.50.
