Saipem Unveils FLNG Solutions at Gastech 2026
Saipem is set to showcase its innovative floating LNG (FLNG) solutions at Gastech 2026, one of the leading international events for the gas and energy industry. The company will present two key solutions: FLNGenius and ZR-FLNG, both designed to maximise the value of offshore gas resources.
FLNGenius is a modular plug-and-play architecture that can support an annual LNG production ranging from 3 to 4 million tonnes, depending on gas quality and site-specific conditions. This solution can be deployed across a wide range of reservoirs, enabling plant configurations to be optimised according to field characteristics.
ZR-FLNG is designed for associated gas fields and remote reservoirs that are difficult to develop through conventional approaches. With an annual LNG production capacity ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 million tonnes, this solution is based on Liqueflex™ 2.0 technology, featuring a zero imported liquid refrigerant (ZR) and competitive performance in terms of safety, operational simplicity, and energy efficiency.
