San Diego Gas Prices Continue Upward Trend Amid Global Uncertainty
The price of gasoline in San Diego County has increased for the fourth consecutive day, reaching $5.711 per gallon on Saturday.
This represents a 1.6 cent rise from the previous day and a 2.8 cent increase over the past week, according to figures from AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The current price is also $1.125 higher than it was one year ago and has increased by $1.025 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran on February 28.
Kandace Redd, senior public affairs specialist at the Automobile Club of Southern California, attributes the rising prices to continued uncertainty in the Middle East.
