Sandfire Resources Share Price Jumps on Strong Copper-Equivalent Production
Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) saw its share price increase by 3.65% to AUD 22.44 on August 24, 2026.
The company's June quarter update showed a 38% quarter-on-quarter increase in Group copper-equivalent production to 47.6kt, taking FY26 production to 154.2kt within annual guidance.
Sandfire ended the fiscal year with an unaudited USD 353 million net cash position and set its FY27 copper-equivalent production guidance at 150kt-166kt.
The company's strategy involves operating performance at existing mines, exploration around processing hubs, and development options such as Kalkaroo in South Australia.
