SandRidge Energy Posts Strong Q2 Earnings with Debt-Free Balance Sheet
SandRidge Energy's Q2 earnings call highlighted strong production growth, increased cash generation, and a debt-free balance sheet. The company reported an 11% increase in total production to 19.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (Mboe) per day, with oil volumes rising 22% year-over-year.
The quarterly revenue of $51 million marked a 48% increase from the prior year, while adjusted EBITDA rose 49% to $34 million. Net income reached approximately $27 million, or $0.72 per share, and adjusted net income grew nearly 73% year-over-year.
SandRidge emphasized its clean balance sheet, with operating cash flow surging to $42.4 million from $22.9 million a year earlier, an increase of roughly 85%. The company has hedged just under 30% of its 2026 production guidance, covering about 37% of gas and 43% of oil volumes.
