Santos Lands Major LNG Deals with POSCO Steel and Western LNG

Santos, an Australian energy company, has entered into two significant liquefied natural gas (LNG) agreements. The deals include supplying LNG to POSCO Steel under a decade-long delivered ex ship arrangement, with deliveries scheduled for 2030 or 2031. Santos' global LNG portfolio will provide the gas.

The second agreement involves purchasing approximately 1 million metric tons per annum of LNG from Western LNG's Ksi Lisims project in British Columbia, Canada, on a free-on-board basis. This purchase agreement spans up to 20 years and is expected to begin around 2031.
