Sapphire Bolsters LNG Capabilities with EDGE Acquisition

Sapphire Gas Solutions has bolstered its liquefied natural gas (LNG) capabilities with the acquisition of EDGE LNG from affiliates of Blue Water Energy. The deal adds approximately 200,000 gallons per day (gal/d) of modular LNG equipment serving clients in the Southern US to Sapphire's portfolio.

The acquisition is part of Sapphire's growth strategy following its recent partnership with Antin Infrastructure Partners. By expanding its LNG capabilities, Sapphire can now provide a more comprehensive service to customers, controlling the supply chain from production through delivery.

EDGE LNG offers modular, skid-mounted plant design that enables rapid deployment and scalable production to meet changing customer requirements. This flexibility allows Sapphire to connect its assets directly with distribution capabilities and customers in strategically important regions.
