Sapphire Bolsters LNG Network with Arizona Plant Acquisition

Sapphire Gas Solutions has acquired the Desert Gas plant in Arizona and a future expansion site in Oklahoma from Spectrum LNG. This purchase adds an existing production-and-loading location to Sapphire's network, increasing its regional supply capacity.

The Desert Gas plant has approximately 76,000 gallons per day of operating production capacity and 100,000 gallons of LNG storage. Its location near the California border makes it a strategic asset for Sapphire, as it can connect owned liquefaction capacity with transportation, storage, and customer-delivery services across the Southwest and Southern California.

This acquisition follows Sapphire's previous purchase of EDGE LNG in August, which brought approximately 200,000 gallons per day of liquefaction capacity to its operations. The Stroud property acquired from Spectrum remains a future expansion opportunity for Sapphire.
