Sapphire Gas Solutions Expands LNG Presence with Spectrum Acquisition
Sapphire Gas Solutions has strengthened its presence in the southwestern United States and southern California by acquiring Spectrum LNG's assets.
The deal includes the Desert Gas LNG Plant in Ehrenberg, Arizona, which has a storage capacity of approximately 100,000 gallons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and can produce around 76,000 gallons per day.
This acquisition expands Sapphire's vertically integrated energy infrastructure platform, allowing it to control the natural gas molecule from production to transportation and delivery to customers.
The company plans to build on Spectrum's existing customer relationships and expand LNG services for municipalities, industrial businesses, and other customers seeking flexible alternatives to traditional energy infrastructure.
