Saskatchewan Grain Prices Open Strong on August 28

Grain prices in Saskatchewan opened on Friday, August 28, 2026. Bunge's Moose Jaw terminal reported net cash prices for various grains. Canola saw a significant increase of 13.50 dollars per tonne to 765.55 dollars. Red Spring Wheat also rose by 7.85 dollars to 309.23 dollars per tonne.

The opening futures prices from David Derwin of Ventum Financial were not available for all grains, but the report mentioned that Amber Durum and Feed Barley saw no change in price.

Kabuli Chickpeas and Flax both maintained their previous day's prices. However, Red Lentils dropped by 1.50 dollars to 516.50 dollars per tonne.
