Saudi Accuses Iran-Backed Militias in Iraq of Drone Attack
Saudi Arabia's defense ministry has accused Iran-backed militias operating in Iraq of firing drones at oil installations in the Eastern Province.
The drones were intercepted by Saudi air defenses multiple hours before reaching their targets, with no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Major General Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi Defense Ministry, stated that the strike was a terrorist act and that Saudi Arabia has the right to respond 'at the appropriate time and place.'
