Saudi Air Defenses Down Two Missiles Fired from Yemen

Saudi Arabia's air defense system intercepted two ballistic missiles fired from Yemen, according to Reuters. The missiles were targeted at oil refineries in Yanbu, a city in western Saudi Arabia. The Greek-operated air defense system was able to down the missiles, preventing potential damage to the refineries.

The incident comes after Saudi authorities issued warnings to residents in Jizan and Yanbu due to threats from Yemen's Houthi group. The Houthi group had vowed to retaliate for attacks carried out by Saudi Arabia this week.
