Saudi Airstrikes Hit Yemen as Houthis Launch Major Attacks
The Iran-backed Houthis have reported that Saudi Arabia launched over 30 airstrikes on several regions in Yemen, including Marib, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and Hodeida. The airstrikes were in response to the Houthis' major attacks on their neighbor, which injured dozens of people.
The Houthis claimed that Saudi enemy aircraft carried out 32 airstrikes on various areas across these governorates over the past few hours, according to Almasirah television. There has been no official comment from Saudi Arabia regarding the Houthi report.
Saudi authorities previously stated that Houthi attacks caused temporary shutdowns at oil sites and injured 73 people early Tuesday. The Houthis reported Saudi airstrikes following their attacks.
