Saudi Arabia Cuts Oil Supplies After Drone Attack Hits Pipeline

Saudi Arabia has temporarily shut down its East-West pipeline after it was damaged in a drone attack on September 11, 2026. The pipeline, which runs for 1,200 kilometers across the Arabian Peninsula, had been moving four million to five million barrels per day.

The attack is believed to have originated from Iraq, where Iranian-backed militias operate. Baghdad has dismissed a military commander in response to the incident.

Iran's parliament national security committee head Ebrahim Azizi said 'As long as the American side does not accept all of Iran's conditions, dialogue and negotiation are of no use.'
