Saudi Arabia Foils Drone Attacks on Oil Facilities

Saudi Arabia has intercepted and destroyed drones targeting oil facilities in the Eastern Province.

The defense ministry, led by Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said the attacks were launched from Iraqi territory and were thwarted by Saudi air defenses.

The kingdom reserves the right to respond at an appropriate time, according to Al-Maliki.

Saudi Arabia urged Iraq to take steps to prevent its territory from being used as a launchpad for attacks against the kingdom.
