Saudi Arabia Intercepts Drones Launched From Iraq Towards Oil Facilities
Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry has confirmed that it intercepted and destroyed several drones launched from Iraqi territory towards oil facilities in the Eastern Province.
The drones were allegedly launched by 'Iran-backed militias operating from Iraq,' according to Major General Turki Al-Maliki, a spokesperson for the Defense Ministry.
Al-Maliki stated that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to respond 'at the appropriate time and place' and reaffirmed the Kingdom's right to defend its territory and critical infrastructure.
