Saudi Arabia is seeking to increase oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz after attacks forced it to halt a key pipeline, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The kingdom had been raising shipments through the contested waterway in the first ten days of September from August levels, and is now trying to increase supplies further.

The attacks on the pipeline occurred during the Iran war, which has disrupted global oil markets.
