Saudi Arabia Slashes Arab Light Crude Price to Asia Amid Volatility

Saudi Arabia has set its September price for Arab Light crude oil to Asia at a $2 per barrel discount to the Oman/Dubai benchmark, according to a report by @FirstSquawk. This marks a significant shift from the $2 premium reported for the same period in another recent market report.

The discount is also a notable change from the $1.50 discount set for August. Saudi Aramco's official selling price strategy serves as a benchmark for Saudi crude sold into the Asian market, and this development comes amid ongoing volatility in global oil markets.
