Saudi Arabia Strikes Pro-Iranian Militias in Iraq Over Oil Facility Attacks
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Kingdom launched targeted strikes against specific targets in Iraq in response to attacks on its oil facilities.
The Ministry stated that these strikes were carried out in accordance with the right of self-defense guaranteed by international law under Article (51) of the Charter of the United Nations.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it launched precise strikes against targets belonging to pro-Iranian militias located on Iraqi territory, linked to previous attacks on vital oil facilities in the Kingdom.
