Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan Sign Joint Defence Deal Amid Regional Turmoil
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are set to sign a joint defence agreement on August 7, in response to regional turmoil caused by the US and Israel's attack on Iran.
The pact follows nearly a year of negotiations between the three countries, with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman meeting in Jeddah for the signing.
The agreement cements a growing alliance between major Sunni Muslim powers, but details on each state's commitments remain unclear.
