Saudi Arabia Vows Firm Response to Houthi Missile Attacks on Oil Infrastructure
Saudi Arabia has vowed to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty after the Houthis launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks on southern Saudi cities and military facilities.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for what they described as a 'large-scale' operation involving dozens of ballistic missiles and drones targeting King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, in southern Saudi Arabia.
A resident of Khamis Mushait told AFP that he heard 'intense blasts' during the attack, with fires continuing to burn for a 'long time'. The Houthis said they would continue and intensify their operations as long as Saudi Arabia continued its military campaign against them.
