Saudi Arabia's Industrial Output Falls by 8.1% Year-Over-Year
Industrial production in Saudi Arabia fell by 8.1% year-on-year in July 2026, marking its slowest contraction since February.
The decline was largely driven by a slowdown in oil sector output, which decreased by 11.4% compared to the same period last year.
However, the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas saw a smaller drop at -10.9%, while output of coke and refined petroleum products plummeted to -13.6%.
On the other hand, non-oil activities slipped by 0.3%, weighed down by a sharper decline in manufacturing, which fell by 1.3%.
