Saudi Aramco Refinery in Jizan Attacked Again

The Saudi Aramco oil refinery in Jizan, southwestern Saudi Arabia, has been attacked again. According to reports from the Financial Times, citing two sources familiar with the situation, the strike occurred on Monday and had a capacity of 400,000 barrels per day.

The scale of the attack is said to be similar to last month's disruption, which temporarily stopped operations at the facility. However, Saudi Aramco has not commented on possible damage from the latest attack yet.

Jizan is a key oil refining hub located on the Red Sea coast and is crucial for exports due to disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz. After previous attacks, oil shipments from Jizan fell significantly, with no exports recorded in August.
