Saudi Aramco Teams Up with Maaden for Massive Mineral Exploration Venture

Saudi oil giant Saudi Aramco and mining company Maaden are teaming up to form a joint venture focused on mineral exploration and hard-rock mining in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership will cover an area of about 182,000 km2, roughly 10% of the kingdom's total land area.

The new venture will primarily target copper, as well as other energy transition minerals such as zinc, lead, and rare earth elements.
