Saudi Crude Oil Production Hits New Record in 2025
Saudi Arabia's crude oil production rose by 5.6% to 3.46 billion barrels in 2025, according to a report from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). The country's exports of crude oil increased by 6% to 2.35 billion barrels during the same period.
In contrast, domestic consumption of crude oil fell by 6.7% to 155.4 million barrels in 2025. Production of refined petroleum products totaled 991.5 million barrels, with gas oil/diesel production rising by 6% to 432.2 million barrels.
Saudi Arabia's exports of refined petroleum products exceeded 541 million barrels, with gas oil/diesel making up the largest share at 45.7%, followed by gasoline at 20.4%. Meanwhile, imports of refined petroleum products totaled 129.6 million barrels, with fuel oil accounting for the largest share.
