Saudi Economy Poised for Strong Growth in 2027, IMF Predicts 5.5 Percent GDP Expansion
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised its forecast for Saudi Arabia's economy, projecting GDP growth of 5.5 percent in 2027.
Economists attribute this growth to the Kingdom's sound public finances and accelerating non-oil activity.
Naif Alghaith, chief economist at Riyad Bank, notes that the Saudi economy is likely to exceed 5 percent growth in 2027 due to continued strength in non-oil activities, driven by domestic demand, investment projects, and Vision 2030 programs.
The resilience of the Saudi economy has been demonstrated during recent geopolitical tensions thanks to strong economic fundamentals and advanced infrastructure.
