Saudi Oil Exports Plummet to Lowest Level Since 1990
Saudi Arabia reported its lowest oil exports since 1990 to OPEC last month, plunging by 1.9 million barrels a day (mbd) to 6.238 mbd.
The kingdom's production tumbled due to renewed hostilities between the US and Iran, which squeezed export routes.
Riyadh notified OPEC that its output was even lower than the previous wartime nadir reached in April, illustrating the fallout of the prolonged Iran conflict on West Asia energy producers.
