Saudi Oil Facilities Under Fire from Iraq for Second Straight Day

Militia-backed groups in Iraq have launched drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities for the second consecutive day, putting further pressure on the kingdom.

The Saudi Defense Ministry reported that it intercepted drones targeting oil facilities in the Eastern Region on Tuesday (Jul 28), but did not confirm whether any damage was inflicted.

This is the second such attack from Iraq in as many days, with similar strikes also carried out against Riyadh and the Eastern Region on Monday.
