Saudi Oil Infrastructure Under Drone Attack from Iran-Backed Militias
Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure was targeted by multiple drones on July 27, according to the Ministry of Defense. The attacks were carried out by 'Iran-backed terrorist militias,' said a spokesman for Turki al-Maliki.
The drones were directed at oil facilities in the Eastern Province and in Riyadh, with Saudi authorities not releasing any information about casualties or losses.
Turki al-Maliki stated that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to respond 'at the appropriate time and in the appropriate place.' The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks and urged Iraq to prevent the use of its territory for such purposes.
