Saudi Oil Refineries Targeted by Yemeni Missiles, Intercepted by Greek-Operated Defense System
The Saudi oil refineries in Yanbu were targeted by two ballistic missiles fired from Yemen on Saturday, but air defense systems intercepted them.
The Greek security sources told Reuters that the Patriot air defense battery operated by Greek military personnel shot down the missiles.
Saudi civil defence had issued warnings for Yanbu and Jizan, a port city about 1,000 km south of Yanbu, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
