Saudi Operating Revenues Index Rises 6.1 Percent in June
Saudi Arabia's Operating Revenues Index showed an annual rise of 6.1 percent in June, according to preliminary results released by the General Authority for Statistics.
The growth was supported by strong expansion in manufacturing and financial and insurance activities, which rose 16.9 percent year on year.
This comes as Saudi Arabia's broader economy continues to show momentum, with real gross domestic product expanding 3 percent year on year in the first quarter.
Non-oil activities were the largest contributor to overall GDP growth, adding 1.7 percentage points.
