Saudi Pipeline Shutdown Threatens Global Oil Supplies

A drone attack on Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline has halted oil exports through the key route, threatening up to 4% of global supplies.

The pipeline transports between 4 and 5 million barrels of oil daily, making it a vital export channel for Saudi Arabia amidst ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Existing stocks in Yanbu are sufficient for five to seven days, while further reserves in Egypt's Ain Sokhna and Sidi Kerir terminals could sustain exports for several more days.
