Saudi Stocks Close Lower Amid Sector-Wide Declines
Saudi Arabia's stock market closed lower on Tuesday, with the Tadawul All Share index falling 0.24%. The decline was led by losses in the Agriculture & Food, Financial Services, and Real Estate Development sectors.
The best performers of the session were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200), which rose 7.17% or 21.00 points to trade at 314.00. Saudi Azm for Communication and Information Technology (TADAWUL:7211) added 6.16% or 1.62 points to end at 27.92, while Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co CSJC (TADAWUL:7202) was up 5.88% or 12.00 points to 216.00.
The worst performers were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which fell 5.56% or 4.00 points to trade at 67.90, and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) was down 3.14% or 1.26 points to 38.84.
Crude oil prices were up, with October delivery rising 2.72% to $88.09 a barrel, while Brent oil for December delivery rose 4.78% to $92.59 a barrel.
