Saudi Arabia's trade surplus surged to $6.94 billion in May 2026, a significant increase of 328.8 percent from the same period last year.

The country's non-oil exports saw a decrease of 26.1 percent compared to May 2025, while national non-oil exports declined by 27.3 percent.

However, merchandise exports increased by 3.9 percent in May 2026 compared to the same period last year, driven by a 19.5 percent increase in oil exports.
