Saudis Delay Jazan Refinery Restart After Weekend Attack
Saudi Aramco has delayed restarting its Jazan oil refinery following a weekend attack on the facility. According to market intelligence firm IIR Energy, the complex was initially scheduled to restart by August 16, but will now tentatively resume operations by August 30.
The 400,000-barrel-a-day Jazan plant is one of Saudi Aramco's largest refineries. The delay has pushed back the restart timeline by roughly two weeks.
