Sawgrass LNG Powers Up Walker's Cay with Cleaner Energy Solution

Sawgrass LNG & Power has started supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Walker's Cay, a legendary sportfishing destination in the northern Bahamas. The project marks an expansion of Sawgrass' presence across the Bahamas, where it has supplied LNG to resorts and utilities for over eight years.

Walker's Cay is undergoing an extensive redevelopment led by Carl Allen, with a focus on reducing fuel costs and lowering emissions through the transition from diesel to LNG power generation. The island's power generation now relies on Sawgrass' reliable energy solution, providing customers with lower operating costs and greater fuel price stability.
