Scottsdale Gas Prices Soar to $4.53 as Valley Sees Another Price Jump

Gas prices in the Valley have continued to rise, increasing by 12 cents per gallon this week. The current average price is $4.49 per gallon, with Scottsdale seeing an even higher average of $4.53 per gallon.

This represents a 13-cent increase from last week's prices in Scottsdale.

Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, noted that August might bring some relief at the pump as road trips wind down and families settle into their fall routines.

However, he cautioned that elevated crude oil prices could prevent a seasonal shift in gas prices from occurring yet.
