Seatrium Achieves Milestone with Dual FPSO Sailaway for Petrobras

Seatrium Limited achieved a significant milestone in its partnership with Petrobras, Brazil's National Oil Company. The company announced the impending sailaway of two Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels, PETROBRAS 80 and PETROBRAS 82, which will add 450,000 barrels of oil per day to Brazil's prolific Búzios field.

The P-80 and P-82 FPSOs are among the largest ever built, capable of lifting Brazil's national oil production by 10%. They represent the 47th and 48th projects undertaken by Seatrium for Petrobras, building on a partnership spanning more than three decades. The vessels will soon set sail for the Búzios field in Brazil's pre-salt Santos Basin, one of the world's largest deepwater oil fields.

P-80 and P-82 are designed to produce 225,000 barrels of oil per day each and process 12 million cubic meters of gas per day. Together, they will add approximately 34% to the installed production capacity of the Búzios field when operational. Each vessel also has water injection capacity of approximately 250,000 bpd.
