Seatrium's Dual Sailaway Sets Industry Record with Brazil-bound FPSOs
Singapore-based Seatrium is set to achieve an industry first with the dual sailaway of two massive FPSO units, which are scheduled to depart from its yard in Singapore within weeks of each other and head to Brazil's Búzios field.
The two vessels, P-80 and P-82, are among the largest ever built, with a capacity to produce 225,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and process 12 million cubic meters of gas per day.
Seatrium has been working on these projects for over three decades and has completed 47 projects for Petrobras. The company's CEO, Chris Ong, commented that the sailaway is a significant milestone in their partnership with Petrobras.
