Selkirk Copper Digs Up Massive Resource Increase as Restart Gains Momentum
Selkirk Copper's Phase 2 drill program has yielded impressive results at Minto North, intersecting 13.12% copper equivalent (CuEq) over 1.93 meters.
The updated Mineral Resource Estimate shows a significant increase in Measured and Indicated copper, gold, and silver, with a 182% boost in copper, a 184% increase in gold, and an 188% rise in silver compared to the 2025 estimate.
CEO Colin Joudrie attributes half of the tonnage growth to exploration success and half to updated metal price assumptions and design basis changes.
Selkirk plans to reinstate gravity recovery circuits to lift gold and silver recovery by around 10 percentage points each, as well as add a permanent crusher circuit at the front end of the mill.
