Senco Gold Sees 67% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27 Amid Gold Price Volatility
Senco Gold & Diamonds reported a strong start to fiscal year (FY) 2027, with consolidated revenue from operations increasing by 67 per cent year-over-year (YoY) to Rs 3,056 crore in Q1. The company's retail sales grew 50 per cent YoY to Rs 2,651.5 crore, while same-store sales growth stood at a strong 39 per cent.
The EBITDA increased by 16 per cent YoY to Rs 213 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 7 per cent. However, the company's profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 101 crore, down 3 per cent YoY due to gold-price volatility and discounting.
The company added eight new showrooms during the quarter, taking its total network to 209 showrooms. Senco plans to open another 12-15 showrooms in the rest of FY27 with a focus on franchise-led expansion and Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
