Sensex Soars Over 500 Points as Indian Markets Open Higher
Indian equity benchmarks opened higher on Thursday, with the BSE Sensex rallying over 500 points and the NSE Nifty50 climbing close to 150 points.
The rally came as investors tracked gains across Asian markets and eased global bond yields.
The US plans to buy back longer-dated Treasury notes, a step aimed at bringing down borrowing costs, which influenced investor positioning across global equity and debt markets.
However, higher crude oil prices remain a key concern for Indian markets due to their potential impact on inflation, the rupee, and corporate costs.
