September WASDE Report to Reveal Key Grain Supply Insights

The upcoming September World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report will give U.S. farmers and grain markets an updated assessment of corn, soybean, and wheat supplies.

One key area to watch is the potential for a lower corn yield estimate, which could tighten new-crop ending stocks at a time when exports remain firm.

The USDA currently projects a national corn yield of 180.7 bushels per acre, but estimates outside the agency have raised questions about whether that figure can survive September's update.
