SGX-Listed Palm Oil Players Poised for Stronger Q2 Earnings on Higher CPO Prices

Singapore-listed palm oil players are set to report stronger second-quarter earnings due to higher crude palm oil prices, analysts say.

Higher CPO prices have lifted plantation margins, with upstream-focused producers like First Resources and Bumitama Agri likely to benefit the most. Integrated groups such as Wilmar and Golden Agri-Resources may see their gains partly offset by increased raw material costs in their downstream business segments.

The price of palm oil futures has risen 17% this year, supported by tightening supply expectations from El Nino, Indonesia's energy mandate, and renewed concerns over Red Sea shipping disruptions.
