Shell Completes $16.5 Billion Acquisition of Canadian Gas Producer ARC Resources
UK-based LNG giant Shell has completed its $16.5 billion acquisition of Canadian gas producer ARC Resources after receiving all required approvals.
The deal, which includes debt, marks a significant expansion for Shell in the global natural gas market.
Shell and its partners have also taken a final investment decision on the Phase 12a development project in Egypt's West Delta Deep Marine concession, which will increase gas supplies to the country.
