Shell Introduces Indiana Ethanol-Infused Fuel for INDYCAR Racing
Indiana corn farmers are celebrating the introduction of a new fuel blend for INDYCAR racing that will incorporate ethanol from Indiana. The Shell company has announced its updated 100% Renewable Race Fuel, which will debut during the 2027 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
The new fuel formulation will combine renewable ethanol sourced from Indiana with traditional gasoline. This move highlights the important role Indiana ethanol plays in creating markets for corn grown by Hoosier farmers.
